Raquel Reichard is an award-winning journalist and editor whose work focuses on Latinx culture, politics, music and identity. Formerly an editor at Latina magazine, Remezcla and mitú, Raquel's work has also been published in The New York Times, Teen Vogue, Bustle, Cosmopolitan, the Fader, Vibe and many more. Raquel has a bachelor's degree in journalism and political science from the University of Central Florida and a master's degree from New York University's Gallatin School of Individualized Study, where she studied the intersection of Latinidad and new media. A proud Nuyoflorican, Raquel was born in Far Rockaway, Queens, New York, spent her childhood in her parents' beautiful homeland of Puerto Rico and was raised in Orlando.
